Cough With Wheezing

If your child makes a wheezing (whistling) sound when breathing out, this possibly will mean that the lower airways are inflated. This can occur with asthma or with a viral infection (bronchiolitis). Also, wheezing at times can transpire if the lower airway is blocked by a foreign object.
