Answer
During ones pregnancy, the most popular form of cramps are usually the ligaments that surround and help your uterus. As your baby develops, these ligaments expand. When you adjust positions, you’ll from time to time feel these ligaments cramp up on one or both sides of your abdomen or toward your back. Ligament cramps can take place any time during your pregnancy, but they will be more recognizable among fourteen and twenty weeks. During this time your uterus is growing and putting pressure on the ligaments, but it hasn’t grown so large that your pelvic bones guide support it. If you have what feels like a ligament cramp, try lying down in your side until it goes away. A hot water bottle may also assist, but normally these cramps go away pretty quickly in the event you just rest.
