Genital warts are common in both men and female but more common in women. Warts love moist warm environments and that is exactly what a vagina is.. a warm moist environment. So due to this it is more common for women to develop warts due to HPV but that doesnt mean a male cannot develop them.
Although warts are horrible growths that are a constant reminder of your virus, it is actually more beneficial that you develop these because than you are aware of your virus. Alot of people have the HPV type which causes genital warts, but they do not always develop the warts. This results in transmission because you were not aware you had it. It is imperative to get yourself and your sexual partner treated for the condition under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.
