If you have been trying for a baby or are contemplating doing so, once the decision is made most couples will be asking the question “How do you get pregnant fast?” Well Your fertility period is based on an intricate series of events. Every month hormones in your pituitary gland stimulate the ovaries to release an egg, which once released gradually travels to one of the fallopian tubes. This is the time when you are most fertile or in other terms you are ovulating. Now to calculate when your ovulation period starts you need to keep a track on your menstrual cycle.
If you have a regular 28 days menstruation, ovulation is most likely to start about 14 days after the day your last period began. However, if you have irregular or long menstrual cycles due to stress, illness or exercise, deduct 18 from the number of days in your shortest cycle. And when your next period begins, count ahead by this many days; it will give you an estimate regarding your most fertile days.
